FAQs

I don't know much about nutrition, can I still do this?
Yes! I work with many clients on all different levels. You do not need to have any macro experience.

The idea of macros intimidates me!
Totally understand! That is what I'm here for. We will work together and I will break it down step by step. If you don't want to bother with grams of each nutrient, I'll do it for you. I review clients food logs daily and give suggestions along the way. Pretty soon it will be second nature.

Is this something that I can do while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes! There isn't a more important time to be fueling your body correctly than when supporting another life. There is nothing restrictive about this way of eating but rather giving your body the balance of nutrients it needs.

Can I still eat my favorite foods?
Yes! There are no “food lists.” Nothing is “off limits.” Rather, the focus is developing a healthy relationship with food and learning to eat your favorite foods in an appropriate and balanced way.

Can I eat out?
We all know that eating out while "dieting" can be tricky. But it is a part of life! My job is to teach you how to eat out and stay on track. I work with many clients who travel often and there are always ways we can brainstorm and figure out how to make it work.

What if I want to improve health and not lose weight?
No matter what your goal, weight loss, muscle gain, or simply improving health markers (cholesterol, blood sugar, A1c, blood pressure), specific guidance will be tailored to your needs and goals.

How much weight can I expect to lose?
The "best" diet is one you can be consistent with. This nutrition approach promotes sustainability to allow you to reach your goal, no matter how much weight you have to lose. This is not a "fad diet" so if you are looking to lose significant weight quickly by cutting out entire food groups, this is not for you.
